Wiley William Robinson, 80, of Silva, Missouri, entered into rest with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 1, 2023, surround by his family at home. Born on June 21, 1943, in Herod, Illinois, Wiley was a beloved individual who touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed.
Wiley was one of the kindest and sweetest men ever. He had a warm and gentle personality that endeared him to everyone he met. He had a special place in his heart for his family, and his love for them knew no bounds.
In addition to his loving nature, Wiley had a successful career as a master brick mason. He dedicated 50 plus years of his life, to perfecting his craft. Wiley's expertise and skill were widely recognized, and he leaves behind a legacy of excellence in his profession.
Wiley was a long-time member and deacon at the Turkey Creek General Baptist Church, where he attended and worshipped.
Outside of work and church, Wiley had a passion for gardening. He delighted in tending to his vegetable and flower gardens, finding joy in the beauty of God's creation. He also enjoyed raising chickens and cherished the time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Wiley is survived by his loving wife Margie Joy Robinson of Silva. By his children Shelia Sanders & husband Steve of Clubb. His son Lee Robinson and wife Amy of McGee, Sue Ann Berrong and husband Noble of Silva, Elizabeth Hunter and husband Doug of Highland, IL and Max Robinson and wife Anna of Poplar Bluff.
Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren: Jordan Wood, Jeremiah Wood & Rachal Thompson, Marion Wood, Keisha & Andrew Russell, Kody, Stephanie, Adalynn & Zander Berrong, Tyler Robinson, Jessica, Darian, Liam, MacKenzie & Olivia Sloan, Noah & Megan Berrong, Grace Robinson, Landon Sanders, Tyler, Maddison, Breanna & Bradley Hunter, Abigayle, Lilyan & Emmalynn Robinson
Three brothers, Cecil, Deon & David Robinson and sister Brenda Diane Raines all of Southern Illinois. As well as numerous other family members and friends across Missouri and Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Maudie Fricker Robinson, brother Dolan Robinson, his sister Arlene Robinson Fowler, and son-in-law Dennis Wood.
Wiley will be remembered for his kind and forgiving heart and his dedication to his profession, and his love for family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 3, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville, MO. Funeral services will follow Monday, September 4, 2023, at 11:00 am, also at funeral home chapel. Burial will be at New Prospect Cemetery, Silva, MO.
