Willard "Willie" Ray Brown

Willard "Willie" Ray Brown, 83, of Qulin, MO, formerly of Wayne County, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023, at Campbell Healthcare and Senior Living. He was born January 21, 1940, in Carter County to the late Owen “Richard” and Zelma Eva (Smith) Brown.

Willie was a loving and devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a high school graduate from Ellsinore. He proudly served in the United States Navy. Willie married the love of his life, Nyoika Sence, on March 15, 1969. He was a machinist at McDonnell Douglas for thirty years. Willie was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and traveling, especially to Texas. Willie also enjoyed working on his farm.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Willie is survived by his loving and devoted wife of fifty-four years; sisters: Edith Littrell of Annapolis, Betty Clyburn and husband Larry of Ellsinore, Barbara Rischer of Annapolis; many nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends. Willie will be missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm., at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm, also at chapel.
