Wilma Ann (Montgomery) Miller

Wilma Ann Miller, 79, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born in Piedmont, December 11, 1942, to parents Robert F. and Esther (Martin) Montgomery.

Wilma was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She married Ronald “Earl” Miller on February 25, 1967, and they were blessed with one son. Wilma worked for Bussmann Fuse Company for twenty-one years before retiring. Wilma loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed quilting and embroidering. She was an avid reader, loved flowers, and her animals, especially her Pygmy goats.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Cleo, Lonnie, Otis, Guy, Reggie, Arlin, and Vernon Montgomery; sister: Janice Chiles.

Wilma is survived by her loving husband of fifty-five years; her son: Ryan Miller of Piedmont; brother: Ronnie Montgomery of Bowling Green, KY; her sweet companion: Rosie; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Wilma will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.  

Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service followed at 1:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Jim Norman ministered to the family. Chris Rickman, Andy Foster, Evan Montgomery, Jeffery Janecek, Kyle Montgomery, and Michael Umfleet served as pallbearers.
