Yvonne Faye (Barks) Bollinger, age 66, passed away February 20, 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Faye was born on July 24, 1959, in St Louis.
Growing up in Greenville, Missouri, she met the love of her life, James Bollinger, Jr. Devoted in marriage for 51 years, together they built a life filled with love, lasting memories and unwavering commitment. Faye was a loving mother to Cynthia and husband Marv and Bryan and wife Shannon. She was especially proud of her beloved grandchildren: Isaiah and wife Natasha, Aidan, Chase, Tilly Jo and Jackson. Being “Grandma Faye” was one of her greatest joys.
Faye will be missed dearly by her brothers Gary Barks, Don and wife Jerri Barks and Roy Barks and husband Dale; her sisters-in-law Robin Koeger and husband Tom and Suzie Bollinger; many cherished nieces and nephews who lovingly knew her simply as “Aunt Faye.” Faye will be joyfully reunited in heaven with her parents Troy and Delores Barks, her sister Debra Johnson and her brother Kenneth Barks.
Faye was passionate about her family and made it her mission to always ensure everyone felt loved and celebrated. She delighted in planning surprise parties, hosting family, and creating special memories that will be treasured forever. She enjoyed spending time with her family, afternoon naps, games and sharing nights out with her husband. Clever and witty, she was always ready with a joke or a silly face to make someone smile. Cherished by all of her friends and family, Faye brought joy and happiness to everyone she encountered.
Faye brightened the world around her with a remarkable glow. With the soul of a fighter and a heart filled with compassion and love for her family and friends she touched and inspired all who knew her. Faye will be truly missed but her spirit and passion for life will live on through us all.
